We focus on making you a compelling and engaging speaker rather than nitpicking filler words like "um" or "ah." If you’re interesting, your audience won’t even notice them! Our goal is to help you become the best version of yourself on stage.
What specific speaking skills will I develop at The Studio?
At The Studio, storytelling is at the heart of what we teach because stories make you both interesting and unforgettable. We’ll help you craft compelling stories that stick with your audience and eliminate the need for notes, freeing you to fully connect and engage.
You’ll also develop essential skills like audience interaction through strategic questions and activities, mastering body language for impact, and even techniques for selling from the stage. Plus, we focus on structure and speechcraft to ensure your message is clear, memorable, and effective.
How quickly can I expect to see improvements in my speaking skills?
Your progress depends on your dedication, but many participants see dramatic improvements after just a few practice speeches. Our storytelling structure helps you refine your delivery quickly, and we often notice significant growth from one practice session to the next—especially for those new to the program.
Does The Studio help with creating presentations, visual aids, or slide decks?
No. At The Studio, we focus on preparing you to shine on stage, regardless of technology. We believe that relying too heavily on slide decks can diminish your connection with the audience. Instead, we teach you how to engage, captivate, and deliver a powerful message—even if the tech fails.
What are the benefits of becoming a member instead of paying per visit?

If I miss a session as a member, can I make it up later?
Each week at The Studio covers a unique topic that won’t be revisited until the following year. While nothing replaces the hands-on experience and live Q&A, you can still catch up by accessing our free online training, the "How to Book Gigs Guide," which covers each month's theme.
What is the format of a typical Studio session?
Each session starts with warm-ups, introductions, and celebrating members' successes. We then dive into 10- and 7-minute speeches, followed by 5–7 minutes of constructive feedback for each speaker.
The lesson portion varies weekly:
~ Week 1: Training from our instructors.
~ Week 2: A challenge for a volunteer to apply the training.
~ Week 3: A volunteer teaches the material back or practices it with feedback.
~ Week 4: Micro speeches with quick, focused feedback.
This structure ensures continuous learning, practice, and growth!
Do I need to prepare a speech ahead of time to participate?
Not at all! We welcome both prepared and impromptu speeches, giving you the flexibility to practice in whatever way suits you best.
Are the sessions interactive, or is it more of a lecture-style format?
The Studio sessions are highly interactive! We practice what we preach by engaging with our audience and encouraging everyone to learn together. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, and we’ll ask questions of you to maximize participation and keep the energy dynamic.
Are there any virtual or online options for those who can’t attend in person?
Not yet, but we’re actively working on it! We plan to launch Studio Online within the next year, so stay tuned for updates.

Most Studio members are entrepreneurs driven to make a positive impact on the world. Many are aspiring or professional speakers who want to refine their skills to promote their programs or land paid speaking opportunities. That said, becoming a paid speaker requires dedication. We provide the tools, training, and practice opportunities to prepare you for success, but it’s up to you to put in the work and pursue those opportunities. The Studio equips you to walk the path—it’s up to you to take the steps.
